In 1981, Lyeth Estate was founded in Sonoma County by Chip Lyeth. After having traveled through Bordeaux in the late 1970s, Chip came to believe what the Bordelais had known for centuries: that through blending, you could create a beautiful, distinctive wine, with unique characteristics often very different from the varietals from which it is created. To craft these wines, he brought on his close friend, Bill Arbios. Over 25 years later, Winemaker Bill Arbios continues his dedication to Chip’s vision of making unique blends of various varietals.

Fleur de Lyeth is a sophisticated California wine that achieves Lyeth's mission of blending style, family, tradition and value. Fleur de Lyeth’s proprietary blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and other Bordeaux varietals is crafted in the noble winemaking tradition of unifying the best characteristics of multiple grape varieties to produce a harmonious wine with balanced complexity.
