This appellation is a Mâconnais, from the Sâone-et-Loire region. This region is well known for its fine white wines as well as its fruity red wines.

Macon-Villages covers 10,410 acres spread over 43 villages that have the right to use this appellation.

100% Chardonnay

Winemaking:
Vinification and maturation in stainless steel tanks.

Visual Aspect:
Brilliant pale green-gold

Nose:
Lemon, mint and honeysuckle

Palate:
Very well balanced; dominant floral taste. Dry, lively wine, fresh, fruity and floral. Tender and spontaneous

Food Pairing:
Starters, French snails, frog's legs, mussels, fish and goat cheeses

Aging:
2-3 years on average; up to 5 or 6 for the best vintages.

Serving Temperature:
54° and 57°F.
