One of the most important dry white wines of Piedmont from the wine producing area of Gavi. Gavi extends from the village of Novi Ligure to the lower hills of the Ligurian Apennines. Gavi di Gavi, however, is produced exclusively in the village of Gavi (province of Alessandria).

Location:
Only hill vineyards with appropriate slopes and exposures

Varietal(s):
100% Cortese

Winemaking:
Soft pressing and static decanting. Slow alcoholic fermentation under strict temperature control. Ready for bottling following the malolactic fermentation

Visual Aspect:
Delicate, straw-yellow with deep green reflections

Nose:
Soft, characteristic aroma with scents of fresh fruit and white flowers

Palate:
Dry but refreshing, keen and well balanced

Food Pairing:
Ideal apéritif, accompanies hors-d’oeuvres and fish dishes.
