Dear Friends,
Welcome to the inaugural edition of Boisset's Clos de Chain Newsletter!
With this publication we hope to keep you updated with all of the most recent news surrounding our chains sales efforts.
In this edition, we share with you the higlights of our recent programs as well as points of new distribution. And, in an effort to highlight the fabulous relationships we have across the industry, make sure to read our Buyer Spotlight, where we will be focusing on an influential buyer from different parts of the country.
If you ever come across one of our displays in a chain, please snap a picture and share it with us on our Facebook page. We'd love to include it in our newsletter! The link can be found to the left of this message.
Warmest and faithfully personal wishes,
Jean-Charles Boisset

Buyer Spotlight!

Marianne Hunnel, Program Manager and Wine Program Coordinator for Epcot Center, Disney
Neige and Bouchard Aîné were sponsors for the food and wine festival this year. We had tremendous trial, on-premise and off-premise sales. Thousands of people are heading back to their hometowns looking for some great Boisset products. After this hugely successful campaign, we caught up with Marianne to learn more about her passion for the wine world.
What is your deserted island wine?
Where would the deserted island be? I would want to make sure the wine paired nicely with the food I would be catching and preparing.
What got you into the business?
My family has always been involved with the restaurant business which had been the initial influence. As I grew up I found myself loving to cook for people which ultimately led me to opportunities in the food and beverage industry as a chef.
What is the hot trend in your business or market in wine?
A hot trend I am seeing in the market is that wine is not only being drank as a beverage by itself, but is also being used as an ingredient in cocktails, served as a frozen beverage, and now being used as an ingredient in ice cream. I also see guests being more interested in trying different types of wines from new growing regions around the world.
If you could do anything else, what would it be?
I cannot think of any other industry that I would want to be a part of… It would be fun to have a cooking show with my husband who is the chef at Disney AAA five diamond award restaurant Victoria & Albert’s in the Grand Floridian.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of having the opportunity to be able to work with a incredible team to make magical “foodie” memories for our guests that they will remember for years to come. In 1972 my Dad brought our family of 7 from Chicago to Walt Disney World. The wonderful memories I had of our family vacation is what drew me to be a part of this incredible company. I am proud to have the opportunity to now be a part of this team and carry on the traditions that Walt Disney started years ago.
